Breslau was located about where the "e" is in the word "Silesia" You will also note how vast Prussia was It extended from East Prussia in the northeast all the way to and including the Rhineland in the west That's a distance of more than 800 miles! Berlin was the capital of Prussia, and from 1871, of Germany as well

Most came from around Breslau,Bavaria Germany Which was at one at time was Switzerland 30 miles north of Switzerland-German border Our grandfather John Henry Josef Anton Stalder (Stalter) migrated to Clayton Township in Perry County , Ohio prior to 1832 as his sister Mary Ann and her husband John Mutter were on Reading tax list in 1833
